[It had been a fairy normal training session at the dojo, but there was a lingering nagging feeling at the back of Johnny's head. He knew that Tory and Robby were in a bit of a rough spot at the moment and that his actions had helped cause it.
It wasn't anything recent as far as he could tell- But he couldn't exactly go back and just undo all the deaths he had experienced in this world. It would be pretty darn handy if he could, but that was well beyond him.
Still- He felt like he should at least own up to it to the person one of the people actively being harmed by it.
So when he let's his students out for the day he'll raise a hand and point to Tory.]
[The dark around her eyes almost looks like smudged makeup - something that would make sense when training. Except she started class like that, and it's been like that every day she's come into class for the past week and a half.
She's been extra aggressive in class lately, too. Not so coincidentally, it started right about the same time as the dark around her eyes showed up.
[Tory nods after a couple of seconds' consideration. She probably should talk this out with him, not only because it concerns Robby, or because she's his student, but because he already knows a lot of the details.]
It's not your fault. It's just a shitty situation all around.
[She takes a moment to reach into her gym bag to re-apply deodorant and give herself a quick spritz with body spray before returning it to the bag and pulling on her coat. Even if she's not taking the best care of herself lately, she has enough self-awareness to still care about personal hygiene.]
Let's go get that drink. Then I can say I did something for my birthday.
[There's a slight wry smile at that.]
Valentines' Day is seriously one of the worst days to have a birthday.
[Johnny couldn't help but feel a little responsible for all this. If he had of done things differently maybe could have been on better standing with Robby and Daniel to tell them these on his own. ...He probably still would have died all those times, he knows there's no way he could be that perfect.
But shit. On her birthday too.]
Seriously? That's a double kick in the balls-. Triple if you think hanging out with your boyfriends dad on your birthday is doing something.

I mean assuming that's still the case. I don't know exactly where you two stand right now.
I don't know where we stand, either. I thought we were broken up after our fight, but he snuck into our house and left me a birthday gift this morning and part of that gift was eighteen roses.
[Even though it can easily be taken as a romantic gesture all on its own, there's some extra underlying meaning. Robby had teased her about skipping the roses for Valentines' Day since she expressed her dislike of having her birthday on the holiday, and she'd said she'd actually like to receive roses from him. It's a small but meaningful gesture that has her entirely confused about where they stand.]
I'm gonna say our relationship status is "it's complicated" and leave it at that, I think.
